Thank you for the advice. I deleted the data base file. Rebooted both my PC and the tv. Now the TV just spins, times out and fails to see the shared folders altogether.

I have an older Samsung that used to play files from UMS. Was having some latency issues so updated UMS. Since then the Samsung sees the folder; UMS sees my Samsung.
