Here is the subtitle of Interstellar.2014.cht.srt in attahcment for you check ,
and I am curious why it just occur the error in the newer version UMS (like V. 5.2.1) ,but play successful in V.4.3.1.

Problem to play .mkv files on Panasonic DMP-BDT500
I have 2 renders : Panasonic DMP-BDT500 and Panasonic Viera ST60,
Above 2 renders in UMS V.4.3.1 was working perfectly to paly .mkv files.
But after I update the UMS software to the newer version (include V.5.2.1), 2 renders always occur the same error in some .mkv file.
Error Message "ffmpeg.exe ...
