I can confirm that, after version 7.4.0, ffmpeg.webfilters no longer works. It's too bad, though, because it would be helpful in my situation. I am trying to stream a video from the internet, and it is doing unnecessary transcoding to AVC using the libx264 encoder. I could set CustomFFMpegOptions, but that means that I would have to restart UMS every time I want to watch a H.265/HEVC movie. Do you understand what I am saying? This is especially problematic, because I want to have UMS running on my NAS. It's way harder to restart an application running on a NAS than it is on a PC, in my opinion. I am pretty good with Java, though, so I may be able to modify the latest version of UMS to observe ffmpeg.webfilters again. I just wish I had more free time. I'm really busy these days, due to my three dogs, and some health issues.

I do not understand your situation as you are refusing to post your logs that would show me what you are trying to do.

If your renderer conf is correct it would not need to transcode but other factors would force it to.
That video may not be a single video using AVC, its probably using HLS which is a playlist of many 5 second chunks of that video which may not be supported on your device so UMS transcodes the HLS stream into the one single file.

Like I was saying in your other post about the Sony conf that would only work for that one specific format and not anything else like h265.

Are you playing the stream on the computer or on that Sony TV?

I do not know how it all works with internet streams and the specifics of transcoding but seeing what it is doing I could work out what is wrong with the way you have set it up.
