Hello,
I tried to find info on this but could not see anything.

After UMS scans the folders and creates the thumbnails and video files. Does that link stay persistent? IE. If I link the UMS generated link to another page I store info on as a hyperlink..etc will that change?

The links are not persistent if you restart UMS. They are only valid as long as UMS is running, and even that might not always be true. The only thing that changes is the "id" part, but then again that's what really counts. A UMS link has this form: So, sorry, there's no point in keeping these URLs.
