Hey everyone,

I’ve been trying to stream video from my MacBook Air to my Samsung Smart TV, and it should be simple, right? But no matter what I do, the TV either doesn’t show up in AirPlay, or when it does, the connection drops after a few seconds.

Any tips or workarounds would be super appreciated.

Airplay has nothing to do with UMS.

If you have problems using UMS then I will need to see logs. See the section in red above.

I went through a bunch of reviews and ended up picking Elmedia Player because it was the only one that actually works with my TV.
Streaming video via AirPlay is super easy and smooth, with no lag or interruptions at all.
