Hi,

First problem: when I look at files ". webm" the film stops and starts again and stops and starts again, spaced several seconds apart. When I add webm in the field "do not transcode the following extensions (separated by a comma)" it works!

Second problem: the subtitles are not displayed (Format : D_WEBVTT/SUBTITLES), it works with vlc.

Webm is not listed as a supported format in the manual so it was never added to the conf.

The video showing as transcoding in the logs uses AV1 video and Opus Audio. AV1 is listed as supported in MP4 and MKVs but there is no mention of Opus.

If this is playing nativity for you and can play from the #--TRANSCODE--# folder using "no transcoding" then I can add it.

For subtitles that video does not say what they are so the TV probably cannot read it

Code: Select all

Subtitle Tracks: 1 [Id: 0, Embedded, Default, title: French, lang: fre, type: UNKNOWN]
If they are D_WEBVTT/SUBTITLES then this is not a format listed as supported by the TV.
I did find a post saying vtt is only available as external subs.

If the TV does not display them when streaming then it will be unable to and you will need to burn them into the video by transcoding.
You could get external subtitles in another format like SUBRIP and the TV should pick them up and be able to enable them on the TV, and this is preferable to transcoding.

Your logs were not in TRACE mode so I could not see any causes of stuttering when transcoding.
The usual causes of this is network too slow or the computer not able to keep up with transcoding, even harder at higher resolutions.
Your network speed is 37mb/s which may be a little on the low side. See if using a wired connection helps if you are on Wifi.

Code: Select all

INFO 2026-03-13 15:10:47.396 [SpeedStats background worker 1] Renderer LG TV 2023+ has an estimated network speed of 37.1072011491239 Mb/s
Your computer should be good enough to transcode 1080p but I see that you do not have any GPU acceleration enabled. Do you have a graphics card?
If so you can enable GPU acceleration in the transcoding settings, and also select GPU encoding acceleration method to use GPU encoding in FFmpeg settings.

The transcoding profile in that conf is set to use H265 which takes a lot of processing so you really need to use GPU encoding.
You could change the transcoding profile to use H264 but this is unsuitable for 4k
