Shouldn't be the only the built-in browser search, making it more flexible, comfortable and easier-for-use an excellent addition to the program! )

Yeah that would be a good idea.
UMS in a way already has this for getting metadata from the database but not user accessible. In theory adding a search bar should not be too hard.
