Hello,
I would like to create an UMS in the container (Docker) on my QNAP TS-451 and have been looking for a helping guide for several days.

I have no idea how to pass the directory with the music files to Docker.

In FOOBAR2000 I see the UMS server, but no data is offered underneath it, only empty directories (Media Library with empty subdirectories and several empty root directories).

That also has links to other resources that can help if not covered in that guide.

If it is set up correctly but no files are showing it may be something else that is wrong.
Post your log files (see the red section above) and I should be able to help.

thanks for the links, but I have no problem setting up UMS in Docker on my Fedora 44 laptop. I've done this several times before for testing UMS UPnP Service.

My problem is setting up UMS in the docker of a Container Station 3 on my QNAP NAS.

Docker is Docker on any flavour of OS so that should be the same, but I know next to nothing about it and never heard of a QNAP NAS.
As I said if it is not working I will need to see logs.
