Re: Custom Renderer
Thanks for the tip about DisableUmsResume! That sounds like it's exactly the problem. I've set it now, so hopefully it resolves that specific issue. I turned it off universally, but I added it to the conf for good measure as well.

Re: Custom Renderer
Forgive my difficulties understanding.
I finally figured out my issue. Both ac3 and eac3 are supported (and, who knows what else, since, as you said, supporting documentation is very vague/poor). Since the file I wanted to play had eac3 audio, but it wasn't in the supported section, so it was using ...

Re: Custom Renderer
Sorry to bring this back up, since the renderer you built for me is working great!
That said, there is one issue that I haven't been able to sort. If I skip to the transcode folder and select "No Transcoding" everything plays great, and I can move forwards and backwards, but if I play it with the ...

Re: Custom Renderer
Success!
I did change the RendererName and friendlyName, since the auto-generated file showed the RenderedName as the same value.
I'll experiment with the SeekByTime when I get a chance, see if it works as expected, and maybe poke around a bit more.
That all said, I greatly appreciate the ...

Re: Custom Renderer
You're right, it was in the pasted line, but when I typed it out after, I fat fingered it. My bad.

Re: Custom Renderer
Thanks for the response! I'd thought clicking on the icon in the UMS window that brings up the device settings and then clicking on the conf link at the top would generate enough information to link it.

Custom Renderer
I'm trying to build a custom renderer, as my TV isn't one of the supported ones. Currently, I've yet to find a file it doesn't play, but I always have to go into the Transcode folder, and manually select to play it without transcoding.
