tv LG OLED55B4ELA

Post by jps92 »

Je possède une télé LG OLED55B4ELA mais le fichier de conf qui se charge est "LG TV 2023+". Je remarqué que je n'arrive pas à lire certains avi et que le flac est supporté.
Merci de créer un fichier de conf.
I own an LG OLED55B4ELA TV but the conf file that loads is "LG TV 2023". I notice that I can't read some avi and the flac is supported.
Please create a conf file.

The avi files shown in the logs show that they can be streamed. Do these not work?
The logs were not in trace mode (UMS might not be switching modes correctly) so could not see if there is anything that would stop it from working, it may be using an unsupported encoding.

Flac is easy enough to add, according to the manual it is supported.

Save this to C:\ProgramData\UMS\renderers and restart UMS

I inhibited the line "Supported = f:avi ..." now I can display the avi files but I cannot read the wav files it generates a noise.

Try this. I went through the specs in the manual and updated the conf to match as best I could, may not be perfect.

I think I know why your AVIs were not working. They use Divx but this is not listed as supported, only Xvid, so I changed this.

WAVs may not have been working due to the mime type so I changed this from m:audio/L16 to m:audio/wav.
I think technically these are the same thing but the TV may be expecting it to be latter.

It works for avi files but not for wav files.

The TV might not be able to support some WAVs as UMS will be sending them unaltered.
You should confirm the TV actually can't play this by playing directly from a USB drive on the TV then it eliminates anything UMS is doing.

The manual says WAVs using PCM is supported but the one in the logs uses LPCM.
I don't know much about codecs but thought these were the same.

I have made a minor tweak to only allow WAVS with PCM to work and transcode audio using MP3 instead of the default LCPM.
If that still does not work for some then you can remove the WAV line in supported formats.

wav files play few seconds and stop. If I delete the trick "a:pcm" (like before) it works well !
Now everything is working well. Thank you very much.
