play video on another renderer
Hello,
on the portal of the video collection I could select "Play on another renderer" at the movie side.
How can I use this feature?
I tried to open two or three renderer simultaneously inside the network and UMS saw it but the button was still grayed out.
Can anybody help me or describe to activate the feature?
Thanks a lot
Best Regards,
Michael

Re: play video on another renderer
I have EXACTLY the same. Anyone can help with that? Funny thing that previously when I used alpine-based container, this button worked, now when I use ubuntu-based (because UMS introduced some nasty lib-core-dump error, and on Ubuntu it does not reveal itself), it's unresolvable problem...

Re: play video on another renderer
Same problem
Re: play video on another renderer
It depends on if the renderer advertises this service is available but it could also be that UMS is not checking it properly.
To be of any help I will need to see logs (see the section in red above)

Re: play video on another renderer
I'm unsure if I created the file correctly. I understand it doesn't contain any important personal data.
I opened UMS, with a Kodi device turned on and detected (192.168.1.142).
I went to the web player, selected the video file, and the "Play in another renderer" button was grayed out and unselectable. I finally clicked "Play," but couldn't select a renderer.

Re: play video on another renderer
This time, enable Chromecast detection. Follow the same steps as above.
