File naming when episode parts aren't split.
So I am running into this issue with my copies of Dexter's Lab and Fairly Odd Parents. These shows follow the typical for the time two-to-three segments in one episode. The problem is that TMDB and the other sources of data for UMS count each segment as a distinct episode. My copies of the show are in broadcast format, meaning each consists of two or more segments.
So SE2E14 for me is showing up as the second segment of the 7th episode rather than the 14th episode. Is there some way that I can fix this short of breaking apart my files into each segment?

Re: File naming when episode parts aren't split.
It would depend on how the files are named. I would need to see logs to have any clue what is happening.

Re: File naming when episode parts aren't split.
I've attached my debug file.
I think this is the relevant part.

And this is a consistent issue across every show where I have full broadcast files and the database counts segments as episodes.

Re: File naming when episode parts aren't split.
I did a bit or research on this as the naming conventions are not consistent between database sites due to each broadcast being a compilation of episodes but DVDs can have each one separate. There is no way for UMS to know if each video has more than one episodes.
I did see this and this on Reddit with the same problem with Plex.
Kodi uses a standard naming convention that should work as shown here. UMS should follow this but is not something I have tried to confirm if it does.
You may have to use the format "Dexter's Laboratory - S01E01-E03.mkv" for example.
So for "Dexter's Laboratory - S2E39 - Last But Not Beast.avi" it would have to be "Dexter's Laboratory - S02E108 - Last But Not Beast.avi"
(I don't know if S2 or S02 is important but does keep it consistent)
I don't know how it would show the episode name as it would get very long if it adds this all together, especially if you use the prettify filenames option as it could exceed the character limit. It probably will work fine on the web interface.
This might be where it could be better to split each broadcast to separate episodes.
Edit: I did a test by renaming a video to "Dexter's Laboratory - S02E105-E107.mkv" to see how it would show. Looks like UMS ignores the range and only shows the first and last episode name in the filename. This may be to keep the filename short and does bring up the metadata, just for the first episode though.
