I have three different Rokus and the problems are the same on all. I cannot pause video, FF/Rewind, as well as there is no Resume. I am not doing transcoding. While I have transcoding on all of these work but there is another issue that prevents me from using it. Mainly, that the video starts and goes into a loop once i try to rewind. But that's another issue.
I've never gotten pause, FF/rewind to work on the Roku's over several years of trying. Any advice would help. I'm a bit surprised that it still is an issue though.

Last I heard Roku devices requires all videos to be transcoded, but a firmware change prevented seeking from working.
They should now support HLS for transcoding which will be as if the video was streaming and allow seeking, changing audio and subs, but it depends on if your computer can keep up with it.
I don't know what could be causing it to loop when transcoding though.

Logs are important for us to help, Please follow This Link before asking for support. Just a forum cleaner, Will help if I can but no expert.
