Is UMS able to play Windows Media Player playlists (.wpl files) ?
Re: About playlists
I don't know as I don't use playlists or WMP.
If it is a plain text file then UMS should be able to parse it properly so I don't see why it would not support it.
Give it a try and see if UMS recognises it. There should be some mention in the logs on what it does (you may need to be in trace mode).
If not try changing the extension to .m3u and in theory it will work.
You could make a request on Github to add support if it does not work.

No, there is no WPL support in UMS. Please use m3u or m3u8 instead. Windows Media Play should be able to save a playlist in this format.

Ran into the same thing when moving off WMP. Saving the playlist again as .m3u8 from Windows Media Player and dropping it into a shared folder worked fine with UMS here, and the UTF-8 version keeps accented track names intact.
