Connection lost when transcoding to Samsung EH5300, error "too much content written"

Post by Geert10993 »

Hi everyone,

A few weeks back I started using UMS with my Samsung UE40EH5300 television. For the most part it works great, but for some movies it plays for a few seconds and then the connection quits.

After rooting around a bit in the log and debug files, I found an "too much content written" error, but so far I haven't been able to find a solution online. I've attached the debugging information to this post, the error is in line 50693 of the debug file.

Thanks in advance for your answers!

This is a new error that was discovered not long ago. I was getting the same thing on my F series Samsung TV.
The exact cause is still not known but these logs should give more clues on what is happening so the problem can be tracked down.

This is the issue for it and I will update it with some info from your logs and link back to here.
