Shared network folders gone

Post by Ub3rm3n5ch »

I just updated to version 15.5 and my previously connected folders on my local network (a logical Z drive) are gone.

When I try to add a new shared folder there is no option to connect to that mapped drive or connect through my network.

I may just roll back the update but would like to figure out why this happened and how to fix it.

Thanks in advance.

If you post your logs (see the link in my sig) I should be able to see why it disappeared.

If you reboot your router does it appear?
Someone mentioned something similar on github after that update so may be connected.

Good evening,
For me it happened the same way.
I installed the new version 15.6.0 and I lost all connections of the shared folders. With some renderers was possible to see the folders but not the files inside them. I restart the server but nothing changhed. Al the renderers were unable to read information from shared folders:
- Bubble Upnp on Android 14
- LG TV QNED70A6A with WEB OS
- Samsung with Tizen
- VLC Player su Windows 11

The only way to revert the situation at the previous state of a good functioning server, always up and ready to serve your requests, was to return at the old version 13.6.0.

I hope it shouldn't be the only way?

So, what do I have to do?
Thankyou.
