Compression Artifacts

I started using this program and I have found that even when using the lossless MPEG-2 setting my videos are still visibly compressed. Is that normal? I have attached the debug log. The playback device is a PS3. I suspect that the computer I'm using running the program doesn't quite have the specs to truly do lossless but I don't know since the video doesn't stutter or anything. I enabled unlimited bandwidth and both the computer and PS3 are attached to my router via Ethernet cables. I will be more than happy to provide more information as needed.
